April Moon - Tyron (USA)

The dam of April Moon, SRF Dragnonfly (later SRF Dragonfly De Joter), represented both Brazil and the USA at Nations Cup level, with Karina Johannpeter and Nicole Shahinian-Simpson respectively. Nicole rode SRF Dragonfly to win the USA Olympic Show Jumping Trials in 2008. During a competition break, SRF Dragonfly produced triplets from one embryo transfer flush, resulting in full sisters April Moon, Nicole’s multiple Grand Prix winning mare Akuna Mattata, and Junior showjumper Abbey Road.

EXTENDED PEDIGREE

SRF Dragonfly - Wellington International (USA)

When I think of April Moon, two main characteristics jump into my mind - heart and carefulness. She was an unbelievable competitor. Sadly our time in the arena was cut short, but she gave me an appearance at a major championship, the 2019 Pan American Games, delivering a clear round in the opening speed round and a great fight for our Country in the Nations Cup. I will forever be grateful for my time with her and looking forward to seeing her offspring grow up!
— Angel Karolyi (VEN)
The triplets were born with the brain to compete. It was like they knew what the sport was from the start. They inherited the heart and desire to win from their mother. Although each had their own characteristics, their competitive nature and athleticism were core common components.
— Nicole Shahinian-Simpson (USA)
