Cassitta competed in The Netherlands as a Five and Six Year Old before an injury ended her sports career. Her oldest Irish-bred offspring, Ziggy QF W, born in 2019, is displaying a lot of talent at present.
Oslo, the dam of Cassitta, is a half-sister to the international Showjumper and Approved stallion Quality Time TN. In 2012, Quality Time represented The Netherlands on CSIO5* Nations Cup teams in Calgary, Dublin and Falsterbo in addition to winning the CSI5* Grand Prix in San Patrignano. Under Dubbeldam, Quality Time TN achieved significant success, including becoming the Dutch Champion in 2011
Cassitta is a half-sister to Charlotte SR who competed to 1m45 level with Dutch rider Max Van De Poll, and who is the dam of Jacs Z, a former mount of Ireland’s Jessica Burke. Intenskey SR Z, Cassitta’s younger brother, has already competed to 1m40 under USA’s Denise Wilson-Gallagher.
