Gena QF is the last foal from Knightfield Mena, with whom our breeding programme was started. She is a half sister to our young showjumper, Showman QF, and to Hendrix IIG, who both debuted at 1m40 level in Spring 2025.
Knightfield Mena is a full sister to Nations Cup Showjumper Touchable, who was ridden by Great Britain’s Jessie Drea. Together they represented Great Britain at team events in Copenhagen, Hickstead, Lisbon, Odense and Rotterdam. The pair were also Great Britain’s reserve combination for the 2014 World Equestrian Games.
Mullaghdrin Touch The Stars, the full brother to Knightfield Mena, performed at Nations Cup level with both Jessie Drea & Ireland’s Michael Duffy. In 2019, Mullaghdrin Touch The Stars was the highest earning Irish-bred horse across all Olympic disciplines, thanks to results such as placing third in Cascais Longines Global Tour Grand Prix, and winning the Longines Global Champions League Super Cup Quarter Final at the Global Champions Prague Playoffs.
Knightfield Mena is also a half sister to the international Showjumper Mullaghdrin Gold Rain, who competed up to Nations Cup level with Shane Breen, jumping double clear for Ireland in Lisbon CSIO4* in 2010.
